Be prepared, if you read and complete this you are going to think i am mad...
This is really silly, but me and my mate came up with this idea and she bet me I wouldn't put it on my web site, admittedly it has taken quite a long time, but I can't back down from a bet, but read anyway it's strangely amusing.
NB This has nothing to do with Mara Jade, or any other Hand of the Emperor, it's a daft pun like thing that you will understand as the story unfolds.
You are a republic spy in the midst of imperial forces, three weeks after the Emperor's death and there is havoc in the hide away base. Little do they know that at any moment they could be sprung and their hard work overthrown.
You however have more important work to do than informing your rebellious friends of one insignificant imperial base, more is at stake. This task, that's taking all your time and effort, is a deadly, dangerous secret…
An assault group has been formed within the imperial base, without the knowledge of any higher member of the emperorsless imperium. This group of mere storm troopers have plundered across what seems to be the only real chance that the Empire might prevail. In your cleverness, sneakiness and rebelliousness you have managed to integrate yourself into this group and have a fairly high status, among your would be piers.
Don't get over confident though huh???
Now, one very close friend of yours (or so you've convinced him to think) has informed THE GROUP that he was actually near Endor at the time of the Emperor's death, (on a completely different, non-consequential mission.) On hearing the distress signal his ship had flown to Endor only to be attacked with most of the command staff killed, this storm trooper, then finding himself in command had sat out the rest of the battle and then afterwards gone back to see what he could see. Knowing that the Emperor was on the Death Star when it blew, he came up with this wondrous idea of collecting body parts for cloning. (Okay, it seemed wondrous to him… storm-troopers aren't supposed to be the smartest of people.)
He was actually very successful in finding bits and pieces, he found (although not in this order and not all together): Legs - 2435, Arms - 9821, Hands - 37416, Fingers - 5765, Toes - 98475, Indistinguishable body parts - 65435890547. The unknowing rebellion was quite beneficiary in having less rubbish to clear away. (I know that doesn't really make sense.)
Your base has one cloning chamber that, by the condition of it, obviously can only be used once. Your group had narrowed the search down before you got there to four hands. One is obviously the Emperors hand. It's your job to convince them it's one of the other three, with good reasons. Remember these are just storm troopers, not necessarily high intelligence levels but be careful, they are very suspicious and they have been doing this for quite a long time, so they are getting good at it. (look at the numbers for Heavens sake!!)
Okay, i lied they are really bad at it, they got this far through luck....
PS They are frozen, the smell is still quite bad though so don't spend too long studying them.
PPS Please ignore the fact that these hands are in fact attached to bodies, and so on this is the part where you have to use your imagination!!
A. Yeah leave off, so it could probably be Darth Vaders Hand, but half the point of this was calling it "The Emporer's Hand"... you know???
B. Okay, yeah so i admitt it, i don't have a scanner... i was going to take, like, pictures of peoples hands and stuff, although that prob wouldn't have been much better. Can you pretend they are strange burn marks from the explosion???
And i'm sure you can think up some strange reason for the nail varnish... but that's your job not mine... i'm not the agent (phew)
C.I know there is more than one hand here, just leave it okay, pretend, use your imagination, i didn't think it would be so hard to find pictures of people's hands on the internet!! What is the world comeing to!!
D.Trust me this hand is really not attatched to a body... no really, trust me...
