This will very likely be my last update (if you can really call it an update) before i leave for Africa on the 22nd, you can look forwards to my imminent return around the 21/08/03, (coz that's when my insurance runs out!)
The most prominent change to my site will be the lack of forum.

Oh dear oh dear, over two months since my last proper update... lets blame it on the job! You know my annoying habit of rearranging stuff??? Well i've done it again!
You know all that stuff i had just randomly floating arround and you didn't know where to find it? - Well actually you probably didn't know it was there coz you couldn't find it... but i put it in a new section, which is basically a resuraction of the lately desceased Strangeness section, but is called something better: CargoHold.
It contains; FanFic, Art, and Odd Ends - some of it is obviously stuff you have seen before, but go look coz there is new stuff mixed in!!
Also just to update you on the Head2Head front.
I'm going to endouver to start having a new head2head contest every two months - if i don't give myself a time limit it'll never get done! As it's been ages i'll try to get the next one up before Christmas slash around Christmas.
I came second, well it's better than third. :(

Okay right i was doing the last competitiony like thing for WS, to make a post card for everyone and i got a little over excited and decided to make a post card page where you can go and send post cards to other, please view... it's not that bad. Post Cards.
As you may have noticed i also made another banner that i didn't admit to... On a brighter note there's a new addition to the Head2Head page. The long awaited... dun dun duuuurrrnnn.... Mara Jade vs. Mirax Terrik, long awaited by me anyway i don't know what everyone else thinks, not that everyone else is really very many poeple as you might have noticed, but that is not the point far from it in fact!! People will come flocking, eventually anyway.
I have a new banner, which i made, i'm going to say this very quiet like so perchance no body will actually go and look, not that any body would any way, but it's quite bad... i'm not an artist at heart, but i do try...
Really, really, really exciting newz!!! I have just recieved, from my very good friend Crystal (Crystal Dreams), two, yes let me say that again, two mara jade dolls!! They are superb, and she is a star for making them for me!!! I have put them in my Head2Head section, with links from all (all being currently one) the battles with miss jade as a contestant, in the Art subsection - if you even understand what the hell that meant, but i'm sure if you wanted you could go to the Head2Head section and figure it out and if you didn't want to could just clikc on the link to get straight there!!! So it works for everyone really...

I feel like i've just redecorated a house!!!
As you may have noticed slash seen, i got bored of the Characters page... It was going no where... not really, five characters on it, not grown much since i started, not really very fun for moi, i must say...
I mean, there are so many characters in the star wars universe that it would take ages to add them all, not that i'm not up to the challenge, but i have to ask myself: "Would it be worth it???"
It's far from an origional idea, having a character list, it won't bring more people to my site, they'll go else where, like the offical places, for a more complete list, which mine could never be... It's not really fun for people to read, it's just for information.
I'm not compleatly scrapping the idea i worked for ages on, i'm just changing it a wee bit, to make it more entertaining, please click here for further confusment...Head2Head this is only the begining...there is nore in the preocess of being made, so please be patient...this took me an age as it is!!!
Unduely as it may seem, i have also scrapped the Strangeness section, this however is becasue everything that was previously in this section is now covered by the new Head2Head thing, so don't despare, not that you were, coz non of it was that brill, but it's all still there, you just have to look!

I have gone on LOA at fantasy fights (as their rules say i can't be in their comp as well as another,) but this web survival sounded like a challenge i couldn't pass up!!! I joined a mara and luke fan fiction group thing, it looks quite interesting, momenterily i'm just there for the reading, i haven't got anything to post, i'm too busy doing other stuff, but i hope at some point i'll be able to write a fan fic of some sort...

My computer did a little chocking session, and i had to get a new hard drive and then i couldn't reconnect the ISDN, (this is the girl who is going to study computer science at uni in a years time, well... what's the point in studing something you know all about???)

Okay, wow! This is amasing, i have actually made a wallpaper, and it is erm... interesting... okay. Well it's okay enough for me to let you look at it!! I have put it up in my Art section!!! Which really still doesn't deserve the title "section" as it is in the possestion of two (yes two) piece of work, and now i can say one of them is mine!!!!!
I am planning to change my forum because it's really annoying and i've seen one's that work alot better, i'm going to copy out all the topics uptodate so they can continue as before, but it's just a pain to click all the little linky things every time!!! If you have seen my forum you know what i'm talking about!!!
I have also renamed my forum, "forum", this is due to my suspision that people won't know it's a forum unless they go there and probably won't go there if they don't know it's a forum and blah, catch 22.
I joined a mara jade support group!!! How cool??? And i get a little stickery thing to proove it!!! If you are a mara jade fan you should sign up as well!!! It's like a declaration to the world saying Mara Jade rules!!! That sort of thying, you know??? But i'm well excited!!!

It was going to be called Jade's Fire, but i found other sites called that... I'm so daft!!! I can't believe i didn't notice that before now, and nobody told me!!! Cheek!!!

This doesn't actually really change many things. Just that before i was kinda doing a Mara Jade slash Mirax Terrik kinda thing, but then my character list looked kinda short. So i don't really have a theme for what characters to add to it, and to add them all, that would just take years!! So if this a feminist site, i only have to do the girls, and that's cool coz i'm feminist, and female, all at the same time...
Also, i now have a base on which to write fan fiction, i was toying with the idea of it just being mara jade and mirrax terrik orentated but that would eventually get boring, so not it's feminist fanj fiction... see it's all coming together.. a theme is good!!!
I'm not going to change the books section and have only books that i think are feminist or something like that, mainly because i've done all that work so i have to show it off but also becasue that would be going a bit to far, but i might write something in a books review style format about the writers presentation of women... what i can use the skills i've leanrt in Alevel English about analysising the texts!!!
My Art section can now also have a theme although there is not a lot in it!! (i'm not good at using those graphics programms, i need more practise!!!)
This gives my site a base, and so instead of just being a plain star wars fan site, it's a feminist one, and (hopefully) this will make it shine a little differently from the rest!!! (okay, so i've not changed anything, but i have changed my attitude in part to what i'm doing and that needed noting, maybe for me rather than for my readers, which i am sadly lacking in...MUST FIND MORE!!!
The changes won't take place imediately and will probably be noticeable to no one in perticular but me!! So this was so long but i thought i should write it all down as eventually this will be an important day, in the history of the Pulsar Skate!!!

As you might of noticed i'm just playing around with stuff at the moment, i put a background on coz i just learnt how to fix it in place, (it's really easy so i must be quite thick for not knowing.) And i made the scroll bar go all funny!! (in my opinion it looks quite good, but i'm not sure what will stay...)
Hhhhmmm, i just swapped over to a different page and it looks really plane compared to this one now!!!

I made a new front page like thing, although if you are actually reading this you probably know coz you have to click on it to get here, so... also i put it there i while a go, but i wanted to make a note of it, this is like my web site diary, so it's for my looking back on in three hundred years time, which makes it more worth writing as the people actually coming to read it probably add up to zero or so. Also updated links page due to unwarrented, rude coments i was recieving about it.

It is now offitial, i am a moose, and i know nothing, coz that game has been out for yonks, due to more upto date sources. Maybe now i'll just stick to wrighing new about my site, to refrain from embaressing myself further . . . Hold on a tincy binty second, this is my news page!!! It's new to me!! That makes it count doesn't it? (i'm just trying to make up for my daftness, humour me.)
Also i have the other side of the story on the luke shouting Carrie thing. (This could turn into a debate i tell you.) I very good friend of mine, (i'm sucking up now) iloveyouiknow, informed me of the "offitial" verson of events. Apparently he shouts "We did it!" Now i make no judgement, that is for you to make, (appart from the "yay!" theory). You can go view my guest book for the above stated opinion of said friend, and while your there you might just like to sign it!!
Also, even though it's not newz and it's not new, you have to go read my fan fic and vote for the ending, coz hardly anybody has voted for it yet, and i know it's long and it takes time to read stuff as such but i think it's groovy even if it is based on a lot of if's. Pleaz read Smugglers run!

More newz...i've been to see episode II twice now, it is excellent, if you haven't seen it yet, do so this instant! What ? No i don't care if it's 2 o'clock in the morning, i said NOW!!! Okay, yeah i know, i'm not funny.
I found the bit the episode IV where luke apparently shouts "Carrie!", or rather my boyf found it for my. I think it sounds more like yay! but what ever, no body really knows, or do you??? Eh?? EH? I found this really cool cartoony thing, "star dudes", where every one calls everyone dude appart from the one point where luke calls liea "Carrie" v. humourous. Go see.

I didn't just sit down and learn that, as crazy as I am I'm not that bad, and I do have a social life, if a modest one. I've just read that book too many times to count and Timothy Zahn rockz!
However, back to the fast reclining point, I know that's was probably not quite what I meant, but it sounded good. So, anyway, I want this site be different, and I know that's gonna b tough seeing as I've never looked at any others, but I'm gonna give it a go. That was a joke by the way, the first bit, that was if you were wondering, okay then I'll just laugh on my own, or not, coz it wasn't funny. Fine.
Anyway so where was I? Yeah. There's gonna be tonnes of stuff about the books coz I'm mega into reading and the star wars books are just, the best, there's obviously got to be a section devoted to Mara Jade coz she just rocks to totalation and in pointfullness. You didn't read that wrong, it just didn't make sense. Probably something to do with Mirax Terrik, I'm just a feminist to the ends of my hair. And some other strange stuff. Maybe a surprise here and there.
Now I'll just shut up in pain off saying too much, boring anybody and everybody to tears and forgetting the real purpose of fruitful flying and the nine out of ten times Alderaan wasn't destroyed in the death star simulation project. Okay fine, that, I made up. And I probably spelt Alderaan wrong.
